NHS Biomedical Engineering Club Initiative

The NHS Biomedical Engineering Club Initiative is a student-led  organization that was started by Keerthana Danasekaran & Disha Iyengar at Northville High School in Northville, MI. It is currently comprised of about 30 members. We are an umbrella organization under CardioStart international, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides medical care and aid for places in need.

Our mission is to is to educate students about global health disparities and to raise funds for CardioStart International, a non-profit organization that assists medical teams in providing cardiac care to underserved countries.

We host several fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for CardioStart International. Our cupcake fundraisers and annual Bioengineering Summer Camps are the most popular! We also host bimonthly club meetings to discuss health disparities occurring around the world and engage in fun team building activities, like DIY prosthetics and Licorice-Marshmallow DNA creations!

Interested in making a difference? Contact us by email or phone for questions about making donations or partnering with us!

WORKING TOWARDS A BETTER TOMORROW

Our Biomedical Engineering Club Fundraiser intends to donate all our fundraising proceeds to Cardiostart International, an organization that works to further improve the scope of biomedical engineering in our working society and to provide medical assistance to areas in which healthcare is not easily accessible. We hope you join us to make the world a better place!
